2. Super Tramp Coffee

Opatovická 160, near the Národní třída metro station, looks like a regular entrance until you reach the courtyard at the back: a vine-covered, lantern-lit space where Super Tramp Coffee has been pouring Casino Mocca beans since 2015. Casino Mocca is a specialty roastery from Hungary, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Central European third-wave coffee, and the bar serves it primarily on V60 alongside espresso. The turntable keeps a record going through the day.

3. EMA espresso bar

A fifteen-minute walk east along the streets of Nové Město brings you to Na Florenci 3, where EMA espresso bar has been operating since 2013. The machine is a three-group La Marzocco Strada with a Mahlkönig K30 espresso grinder, and the bar serves Alf&Bet house beans alongside a rotating guest programme of roasters including Gardelli and SlowMov. Pastries from the Alf&Bet bakery in Libeň are available at the counter.

4. Dos Mundos

Take the metro from Florenc south to Náměstí Míru and walk a few minutes to Sázavská 24 in Vinohrady, where Lukáš and Adéla Zugarovi have run their specialty roastery and cafe since 2014. The company roasts on a 6 kg Giesen drum roaster at the premises on Mondays and Thursdays; the bar moved from its long-standing Korunní address to these larger Sázavská premises in August 2025. Coffee, brunch and natural wines from small producers are the offer, with bags of fresh-roasted beans at the counter.

5. Můj šálek kávy

Take the metro north from Náměstí Míru towards Florenc and walk ten minutes northeast into Karlín to Křižíkova 105, the flagship cafe of the Doubleshot specialty roastery. Doubleshot was founded in 2010 by Jarda Hrstka, Kamila Sotonová and Yara Tuček after one half of the team trained on coffee farms in Boquete, Panama and the other at 49th Parallel in Vancouver; the company was the first Czech specialty roastery to run a direct-trade programme and now roasts on a 60-year-old Probat UG 22 plus an IMF 60 kg drum. The Křižíkova cafe serves Doubleshot beans alongside a full breakfast and lunch menu in the heart of what has become Prague's liveliest post-industrial neighbourhood.

6. Osada

Finish in Holešovice, a short tram ride north from Karlín, at Osadní 35, where Osada pours specialty coffee from Nordbeans alongside a small grocery of local dairy, craft beers, natural wines and Prague ham. Nordbeans is a roastery founded in 2010 by brothers Martin and Karel Kozl in Liberec, and the Holešovice bar bakes all its pastries and sweet items on site. The courtyard at the rear is the right place to end the day.

All six are independent. The route runs roughly west to east and then north, from Smíchov across the river through Nové Město, south into Vinohrady, east into Karlín and up to Holešovice. Trams and the metro tie the route together throughout, and each stop is open about its coffee, which is the whole point of the crawl.
