The cup
The original roastery and cafe of Nomad Coffee, founded by Jordi Mestre, a two-time Spanish Barista Champion who began as a London street-cart barista before returning to Barcelona in 2013. The Frutas Selectas space in Poblenou is a pared-back room devoted to Nomad's seasonal single-origin lots, roasted in-house and pulled on a La Marzocco; the name pays tribute to the building's former life as a fruit market. Roasts its own coffee.
