The cup

The flagship Karlín cafe of the Doubleshot specialty roastery, at Křižíkova 105 in Prague 8, serving breakfasts and lunches alongside Doubleshot-roasted coffee. Doubleshot was founded in 2010 by Jarda Hrstka, Kamila Sotonová and Yara Tuček after one half of the founding team trained on coffee farms in Boquete, Panama and the other at 49th Parallel in Vancouver; the company was the first Czech specialty roastery to run a direct-trade programme and now roasts on a 60-year-old Probat UG 22 plus an IMF 60 kg drum roaster.
