The cup

One of Munich's founding specialty roasters, opened in January 2014 by Sebastian Lösch, Peter Schlögl and Mojgan Ensafi at Nymphenburger Straße 51. Mahlefitz installed a Loring Smart Roast and a Synesso espresso machine in premises that were among the first in Germany to apply the Scandinavian approach: organic and biodynamic beans, direct sourcing, and deliberate restraint with roast temperatures. Roasts its own coffee.
