The cup

Carlos Fernandez Zarapico and his pastry-chef wife opened Lalita as a cake shop before adding serious coffee after a visit to Blue Bottle Coffee in New York inspired the expansion. Bread and pastries are made fresh on the premises each morning, and beans rotate between Puchero Coffee Roasters in Valladolid and the younger Don Gallo roastery. Widely regarded as the best specialty option in the Nervion district.
