Founded in 2009 by Josef Weghaupt in the 7th district, Joseph Brot is Vienna's most respected artisan bakery, built around long-fermented organic sourdough using heritage grain from 24 smallholder farms in Lower Austria. Specialty coffee from Coffee Collective (Copenhagen) is served alongside bread and pastries baked in house daily. A strong stop for those who want to add an artisan bakery to the crawl.
