The cup

A specialty roastery and cafe installed in a renovated Victorian railway arch at Neilston Street, with the roaster in plain sight and around 12 to 16 covers. Founded by Richard and Howard after meeting in Sri Lanka, the company roasts in small batches on an all-electric machine, favouring light-to-medium profiles for clarity and balance. The bar serves espresso, pour-over, filter and AeroPress alongside retail beans for sale. Roasts its own coffee.
