The cup
Rome's first specialty coffee bar, opened in 2016 by Dario Fociani after working at The Barn in Berlin and in cafes in Melbourne and London. Fociani roasts the cafe's coffee under the Aliena Coffee Roasters name; the menu runs to homemade pastries and brunch alongside espresso and filter. Located just inside the Aurelian wall, a 15-minute walk north-east of the Pantheon. Roasts its own coffee. Bakes on site.
