The cup
Owner-run cafe and roastery opened by Tunca Özgürer in 2012, the first specialty coffee shop on Istanbul's Asian side. The 6 kg Toper roaster and oven share the same compact room as the espresso bar. Özgürer developed his approach to specialty coffee while working in London, including at Flat White and Monmouth Coffee. Coffee is house-roasted; cakes are house-baked.
