The cup

A Nordic specialty coffee bar opened in autumn 2016 by Icelandic owner Stephanie Bjarnason on Lilienstraße in Au-Haidhausen, between the Deutsches Museum and the east bank of the Isar. Café Blá brings the filter-forward Nordic coffee culture to a Munich neighbourhood that rewards slow mornings: the approach is unhurried and the sourcing serious.
